1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — for example, whether you have already seen a notice — so that the site works properly and we can understand how people use it in general terms.
Cookies do not contain your name or any financial information. They are widely used and are a normal part of how the web operates. You can control or delete cookies through your browser at any time (see Section 6 for instructions).
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies Always active
These are necessary for the website to function. They manage your cookie consent preference so you are not asked every time, and support basic navigation. They cannot be switched off.
Duration: up to 12 months (preference cookie)
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are read most or where visitors come from. All data is collected in aggregate and does not identify any individual. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.
Duration: up to 14 months · Third party: Google Analytics
Marketing Cookies
These allow us to understand whether any of our community outreach efforts — such as a notice in a newsletter — led someone to visit our site. They are used only in aggregate and not to build personal profiles.
Duration: up to 90 days
Preference Cookies
These remember small choices you make on the site — such as your preferred language or region — so you do not have to set them again on your next visit.
Duration: up to 12 months
4. Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically when you close it.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (as listed in Section 2). You can delete them at any time through your browser.
5. Third-Party Services
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than by Greywell directly. These include:
- Google Analytics — used to understand aggregate site usage. Google may process this data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
- Google Maps — if you view our embedded map, Google may set cookies in accordance with their privacy policy.
We do not embed social media tracking scripts or advertising networks on this site.

7. Your Rights
- You may withdraw consent to optional cookies at any time using the toggles on this page or your browser settings.
- Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before you withdrew it.
- Disabling analytics or preference cookies will not prevent you from using this website; it may mean that some minor preferences are not remembered between visits.
- For any questions about how we use cookies, please contact us at [email protected].
